Monday 15th November 2004 - Sunday 21th November 2004 (Day ?)

Alex was monitored quite closely this week after having a load of marrow taken out last week. His rash has spread down to his cheeks. His legs also have a different rash, more like eczema but quite red.

Alex's immune system has been deleted and regrown. This means that he has to learn to defend himself against viruses and bacterial infections all over again. He will receive the normal inoculations - MMR, etc - plus all the ones he's had before. We will be directed by the consultants when he's due them.

The NG tube has been removed and the supplements are being added to his milk. There's even a sign of hair coming back. It's too short to see if it's going to be flame red (ginger) again.
